Cushing High School Band – Orlando Trip 2026: PAYMENT SCHEDULE (Trip Dates: March 5-9, 2026)
This schedule outlines the payment due dates and amounts for the upcoming band trip to Universal Orlando Resort. Please keep this handy for your reference.
Total Estimated Trip Cost (Per Student):
Quad Occupancy (4 per room): Approx. $1,375
(Triple Occupancy approx. $1,400; Double Occupancy approx. $1,475. The payment schedule below is based on the $1,375 Quad Occupancy cost. If you choose a different occupancy, Mr. Applegate will provide an adjusted schedule for you).
Important Note on Costs & Fundraising:
The payment amounts listed below add up to the total estimated trip cost before most fundraising is applied.
Good News! Contributions from the Cushing Band Boosters and your student's individual fundraising efforts (including concession stand work) will be primarily applied to reduce or cover the final payment amount. Mr. Applegate will provide updates on total fundraising credits and your final adjusted balance for the last payment.
Payment Due Dates (Payments are due to Cushing HS Band / Mr. Applegate): These dates are our internal school deadlines, set one week prior to the tour company's requirements.
Online Registration Opens: August 1, 2025

CRITICAL REMINDER: If you wish to purchase optional Travel Protection with the "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) benefit and the pre-existing condition waiver, you MUST purchase the policy within approximately 14-21 days of this first payment.
2nd Payment Due: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2025

3rd Payment Due: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2025
Amount Due: $225.00
4th Payment Due: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2025
Amount Due: $200.00
(Student rooming lists and bus manifests will also be finalized around this time).
FINAL PAYMENT DUE: THURSDAY, JANUARY 1, 2026*
Base Amount Due: $200.00
This amount will be reduced (potentially to $0) by Band Booster contributions and your student's accumulated fundraising credits. Mr. Applegate will inform you of your specific, adjusted final balance before this due date.
Please Note: The date of Jan 1st is New Year's Day. Mr. Applegate will announce an adjusted, practical due date for this final payment (e.g., the first suitable school day in January).
