Dear Cushing Band Parents,

This letter is to share some important news regarding an upcoming opportunity for our band program. We are pleased to announce plans for a trip for the Cushing Bearkat Band (grades 7th-12th) to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. After their continued dedication, we believe our Cushing band students deserve an experience like this.

The trip is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026, through Monday, March 9, 2026. This will be an exciting opportunity for our students to visit Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and the new Epic Universe, and to have positive experiences together with friends and family.

The detailed arrangements are currently being developed to ensure this is a safe, enriching, and well-organized trip. More comprehensive information regarding the full itinerary, trip costs, chaperone information, fundraising opportunities, and specific payment schedules will be provided to you soon.

For now, please note this important date for your calendars:

Online Registration for the Orlando Trip will officially open on: THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2025. Please do not send payments until after registration.

Clear instructions on how to register students online will be provided before this date.

We understand that planning for such a trip involves many questions. Communication will be provided throughout the summer with updates, reminders, and further details to make this process as clear as possible. Also, please feel free to email me any questions. 

Please begin discussing this trip with your student. We believe it will be a significant and memorable part of their time in the Cushing Bearkat Band program.
